An Older-Gen Tiny That Still Gets the Job Done
The Lenovo ThinkCentre M900 Tiny is part of Lenovo's original "Tiny" desktop lineup, built on the 6th Generation Intel Core (Skylake) platform with the Intel Q170 business chipset. It predates newer Tiny models like the M710q, but its compact 1-litre chassis, low power draw, and quiet operation still make it a genuinely useful machine for day-to-day office work, reception desks, POS terminals, and digital signage — at a fraction of the cost of a new mini PC.
Processor and Performance
Depending on the unit, the M900 Tiny ships with a 6th Gen Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processor (commonly the low-power "T" suffix parts such as the i5-6500T), or an Intel Pentium/Celeron variant, all built on the Q170 chipset. These are quad-core-class (i5/i7) or dual-core (i3/Pentium) CPUs designed for sustained office workloads — word processing, spreadsheets, browsers, email, remote desktop, and light multitasking — rather than heavy compute or gaming. Graphics are handled entirely by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 built into the processor; the Tiny chassis has no room for a discrete GPU, so this is not a machine for video editing or gaming.
Memory and Storage
The M900 Tiny uses DDR4 SODIMM memory across 2 slots, with a maximum supported capacity of 32GB (2x16GB) — a healthy ceiling for a machine of this generation and more than enough for multitasking with office apps, browser tabs, and light virtualization. Storage is handled through an internal M.2 slot (SATA or NVMe SSD, depending on configuration) with some units also offering a 2.5" SATA bay for a second drive. There is no 3.5" HDD support — the chassis is physically too small for a 3.5" drive, which is why all storage here is SSD-based, translating into fast boot times and silent operation.
Compact Design, Flexible Mounting
At roughly 179mm x 183mm x 35mm and about 1.3kg, the M900 Tiny occupies well under a litre of desk space and can sit flat, stand on its side with the included stand, or be VESA-mounted (75mm/100mm) directly to the back of a compatible monitor — freeing up the entire desk surface. This makes it a strong fit for reception counters, retail POS stations, kiosks, and space-constrained workstations.
What You Get
Every unit sold by Serverwale is refurbished, tested for full functionality, and comes pre-installed with a genuine, licensed operating system. Because this is an older-generation Tiny, we price it accordingly — it's positioned as an honest, low-cost entry point into the Tiny desktop form factor for buyers who don't need the latest generation and simply want a reliable, compact machine for everyday computing.
