A Full Desktop That Disappears Behind Your Monitor
The Lenovo ThinkCentre M710Q Tiny is part of Lenovo's acclaimed "Tiny" line — a business desktop squeezed into a chassis measuring roughly 179 x 183 x 35mm and weighing under 1.3kg, yet built on the same 7th Generation Intel Core (Kaby Lake) platform and Intel Q270 chipset found in full-size ThinkCentre towers. With the included VESA mounting bracket, it bolts straight onto the back of a 75mm/100mm VESA-compatible monitor, turning a monitor-plus-PC combo into what looks like a single all-in-one — freeing up real desk space in offices, labs, retail counters, and reception areas.
Processor and Everyday Performance
Each unit ships with a genuine 7th Gen Intel processor from the M710Q Tiny's line-up — Celeron/Pentium, Core i3-7100T, Core i5-7400T/7500T, or Core i7-7700T depending on the configuration you choose. Lenovo used the low-power "T-series" chips (35W TDP) in this chassis to keep the Tiny running cool and fanless-quiet under a typical office load, with Intel Turbo Boost pushing clock speeds higher on i5/i7 variants under demand. Graphics are handled entirely by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 built into the CPU — this platform has no discrete GPU slot, so it is built for productivity, browsing, dual-monitor office work and light multimedia, not gaming or GPU-accelerated workloads.
Memory and Storage — Right-Sized for the Chassis
The M710Q Tiny uses two DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM slots (the compact notebook-style memory used in all Tiny-form desktops, not full-size desktop DIMMs), with a documented maximum of 32GB across both slots. We configure units at 8GB or 16GB depending on stock, upgradeable on request. Storage runs on a single M.2 slot (SATA or PCIe NVMe SSD, Lenovo's factory-standard for this generation) for fast boot and app-load times; select units also carry a slim 2.5" SATA bay for extra capacity. There is no room for a 3.5" hard drive in this chassis — the Tiny form factor was designed around SSD storage from day one, which also means no moving parts to fail and a genuinely silent desktop.
Ports, Connectivity and OS
Rear I/O covers Gigabit Ethernet, DisplayPort outputs for dual-monitor setups, USB 3.0/2.0 ports, and a slot for an optional internal WiFi + Bluetooth card — every unit we ship includes free WiFi as standard, so you're not tied to a wired-only desk. Each ThinkCentre M710Q Tiny is refurbished with a genuine licensed copy of Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), tested for hardware faults, cleaned, and re-imaged before it leaves our facility.
Who This Fits
If you need a dependable Lenovo business desktop for accounts, front-desk billing, a school computer lab, or a hot-desking office setup — and don't want a bulky tower eating into limited space — the M710Q Tiny's combination of 7th Gen Intel performance, business-grade Lenovo reliability, and a footprint smaller than a paperback book makes it one of the most space-efficient refurbished desktops we stock.
